The beautiful, light-filled Pan Pottery Studio was established in 2014. Ceramist Angus McDiarmid makes all his pots using a traditional wood-fire kiln, kick wheel, and he digs the local clay himself. Even the timber he used to build his serene studio is hand-milled from local timber.

Angus is an architecture enthusiast. Perhaps he was influenced by his architect uncle, Gabriel Poole?

This studio is worth a visit for anyone who is interested in joinery and connecting to the earth.
