Council’s Kulangoor Memorial Sanctuary is one of the largest lawn cemeteries on the Sunshine Coast. Surrounded by rolling green hills and established trees, this cemetery embraces its environment with the chapel and reflection pool offering tranquil places for visitors. The chapel overlooks one of the areas for expansion identified in our Kulangoor Cemetery Masterplan that aims to maintain beautiful, green spaces. In the future, this cemetery will include pathways and boardwalks for visitors to sit, reflect and remember in a peaceful place.
